Canadian Gaming: BCLC’s Latest Sportsbook Lounge, DeepMarkit Prediction Market Foray
The fifth PROLINE sportsbook lounge in the province will open at Chances Casino Fort St. John, according to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
This Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m. MST is the grand opening event.
Similar to the previous sportsbook lounges that opened earlier this year at Parq Casino in Vancouver, Chances Kelowna, Chances Maple Ridge, and Casino of the Rockies Sportsbook Lounge, BCLC is counting on the excitement that arises when sports fans congregate in one location to watch and wager on sports, the numerous TV screens, and the assortment of food and drinks to entice more people to the casino properties.
A BCLC representative stated the Chances Terrace Sportsbook Lounge is scheduled to debut later this year.
Real-time Sports Betting
Sports betting on self-serve terminals, including parlays, live event betting, and single-event betting, is available at the sportsbook lounges.
A 24-foot screen that allows gamers to view many games at once distinguishes the Fort St. John lounge. There are six self-serve stations on the grounds.
“We are thrilled to open our newest PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge at Chances Casino Fort St. John,” says Dan Beebe, BCLC’s COO. “With wall-to-wall displays and a modern sportsbook offering, we believe that the lounge will provide an exciting and memorable experience for both sports fans and bettors alike in Fort St. John and around the Peace River region.”
