The self-described "King of Instagram" and poker enthusiast Dan Bilzerian has long disputed the Holocaust.  Bilzerian, whose father is Armenian, an ethnic group that was subjected to genocide by the Young Turks during the Ottoman Empire during World War I, feels that a large portion of the deaths of Jews during World War II were caused by disease and starvation rather than gas chambers.

Bilzerian, a critic of the Israeli government, took to social media, where he has tens of millions of followers, to say that he was happy to see Iran retaliating against Israel after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacked Iran unexpectedly on suspicion of developing nuclear weapons.

Since Israel began its "Operation Rising Lion" operation, 722 Iranians have been slain, according to human rights groups based in Washington.  Iran is said to have retaliated against Israel by firing more than 450 missiles.

Bilzerian Appreciative of Israel's Retaliation 

Bilzerian said he is pleased with Iran's response as Israelis continue to seek refuge during the conflict.

"I love that Israel is getting f****d up,” Bilzerian wrote on X, a platform where he has more than two million followers. “It’s like watching a long movie of a bully picking on defenseless people with the satisfaction of watching him get his ass beat at the end.”

Bilzerian claimed that President Donald Trump is a tool of Israel and Netanyahu after the United States shocked the world last night by hitting three nuclear weapons research facilities in Iran.

“Trump bombed Iran, looks like Elon was right, they must have him on tape with kids, he can’t say no to Netanyahu,” Bilzerian opined in reference to Trump being in the Epstein files.

Presumably, Dr. Miriam Adelson, the biggest individual shareholder of Las Vegas Sands and one of Trump's biggest financial allies, put pressure on him.  Singapore and Macau, China, are home to integrated resorts operated by the Sands casino empire.

The main goal of Adelson's excessive wealth, which Forbes estimates to be approximately $31 billion, is to fortify the Israeli state and deepen ties between the United States and Israel.

"There will either be peace or there will be tragedy for Iran,” Trump said from the White House after attacking its nuclear sites — Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. “For 40 years, Iran has been saying ‘death to America. Death to Israel.’ They have been killing our people, blowing off their arms, blowing off their legs with roadside bombs. That was their specialty. I decided a long time ago that I would not let this happen. It will not continue.”

Trump's involvement with the U.S. military follows his numerous promises throughout the 2024 campaign to avoid becoming involved in "stupid wars" and to prevent further confrontations in the Middle East. 

The President's Authority 

The president overreached himself in the Iran attacks, according to a number of Democrats and even some members of Trump's Republican Party.  As commander-in-chief of the armed forces, the president can launch military action to defend the country, but only Congress has the constitutional authority to declare war.

Trump has a 48% chance of getting impeached again, according to political bookmakers on Kalshi.  Over the last week, those odds have increased by over 3%.
